The fried okra appetizer is a must. The large southern salad topped with roasted chicken and dressed with either the homemade blue cheese or homemade garlic peppercorn dressing will bring you back for a repeat on another day
Great service and great food. Was in on Father’s Day for brunch. The place was packed, however we still got our food quickly
Cant explain it but this place hits a weird spot in Knoxville. Food is great, atmosphere is upbeat and not over the top aesthetically. Its going to be different things to different people but definitely worth a visit to see it fits with you.
A really cool place that is fun for groups! The outdoor seating is shaded and comfortable even during hot weather. My first time here was on a whim looking for a bar for a quick bite. It was very busy but they managed to seat us promptly. I would recommendthe fried pickles as an appetizer. Definitely try one of their specialty sodas for a unique non-alcoholic beverage. The twistedcherry cola is a great choice.
I didn't realize it until I arrived, but Corner 16 is owned by the same company as Calhoun's. The food was incredible. After our meal, the chef came out to greet us, which was a nice touch. I noticed there was some outdoor seating and games that looked like they would be fun for the kids. Another great feature was that the bar area was separated from the dining area. I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend it!
