We regularly call in for a drink or two when passing through Prescot of a weekend. There is generally a lot of families, a good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The beers are kept well and the bottles in the fridge are always cold.
We go there most Thursday’s and Luke who works there is so friendly. He always makes us feel welcome. He’s a blessing to your pub.
Really busy at 5.30pm. Disappointed that they had no Abbot Ale and no Doom Bar, surely their signature low-cost pints. Had a decent curry and fish n Chips with ultra fast service. Couples were using downstairs disabled loo rather openly.
Regular here and on the whole food ok and value for money! However this night I ordered the katsu chicken and it was vile! Just an overcooked breast of chicken horrible chippy curry and boiled rice ugh
