I can only agree with the previous reviews. The sandwich choices were limited to either ham or cheese—ham and cheese together might have been too much to expect. The waitress appeared seemingly out of nowhere when we arrived, but I found her friendly throughout our exchange. The restaurant reminded me of my convent secondary school lunchroom, and like others have noted, there were various items for sale scattered around the space. I can’t speak to the prices since someone else in my group covered the bill. Overall, the place felt quite unusual to me.
The food was terrible, the restroom is outside, and the service was unpleasant due to the owner's excessive control over the staff. I would not return. I recommend avoiding this place.
My experience at Fairfield was unforgettable, but sadly for all the wrong reasons. The restaurant was dirty, outdated, and far too expensive, leading to one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. I’m honestly stunned. My recommendation: protect your wallet and your well-being—don’t bother coming here, even if it means going without food. I’m amazed they’re still in business. Stay away at all costs.
We decided to have lunch at Fairfield because other nearby spots were full. Upon arrival, a friendly lady quickly welcomed us, showed us to our seats, and introduced our waitress. The menu was somewhat limited, but our meals came out swiftly, served with a smile by a young waitress. My sandwich was straightforward—ham and cheese on fresh bread—accompanied by hot tea, though the rest of the meal was rather disappointing. It seemed like everything was pre-prepared, and there were no alternative choices. The highlight of our visit was the energetic manager, who was constantly engaging with staff and customers, directing operations, and making sure everyone was attended to. While her presence was a bit much at times, she was certainly entertaining. Reviews of Fairfield have remained much the same since 2013, seemingly unaffected by negative comments on TripAdvisor. We didn’t use the restrooms, but previous reviews suggest that was wise. Overall, we won’t be back, but we valued the uniquely lively experience.
