Valentia holds a very special place in our hearts it is years since we stayed in the Royal and we were so very pleased.The food was very good maby a bit pricey for families the room lovely with a sea view and cosy.A welcoming fire on in the bar area and lots of atmosphere for Halloween. What User doesn't like about Royal Valentia:
We had an evening meal in the Royal Valentia in September. We were placed at a table in the middle of the restaurant were I was sitting in a draught from the air conditioning in the ceiling. I asked the waiter what Gin they had...not expecting there to be a big choice. He mentioned a few but said they had a lot more. I ordered a Hendricks and tonic. Eating quite expensive, we had the sampi that wasn't great. the teig was really thick, so he was so tender. the personal was also quite unfriendly. but in the evening there was a live music that was beautiful.
Stay at the royal for the lovely, beautiful hotel and area. warm food and warm welcome, thank you.
