What Маттиас Мюллер doesn't like about Tellers Gasthaus:
Unfortunately, regardless of the dish, the sauces are very similar or taste the same. Daily dishes with duck often contain unpalatable individual pieces with too much breading, instead of freshly cut duck fillet. The price increase to now at or well over €11.50 per portion sometimes over €15 is far too expensive considering the quality of the food. At noon I was back in Klingenthal and looking for the small Asian restaurant that had stayed two years ago in a very pleasant memory of my last visit. The name remained, the painted columns and the bronze lions on both sides of the entrance clearly emphasize the kitchen direction offered here. When I entered, I saw that the tables were all occupied next to the vault on the right side, at the vault were two more people who wanted to pick up food. So I turned to the left and looked for a table in the empty guest room. No staff could be seen at the input, but after a few minutes the service, an Asian middle age, came to my table, greeted me and served me the menu. While I looked at the offer, she delivered the food shots that sometimes sat at the tables and now gradually left the place. She was friendly and attentive during my stay at the restaurant, as the only service she didn't have very good room under control. Food The offer includes the usual dishes of German-speaking Chinese cuisine with a total of more than 20 very cheap lunch menus, each containing a Beijing soup or a spring roll. In addition, some soups are offered, of which I had not heard yet, most of them only for 2,00 €. Finally I ordered the menu M 13, “Crific chicken meat to Hong Kong type with sharp sauce” (5,00 € with spring roll. In addition, a “San Sin soup with shrimp, ham, chicken meat and vegetables” (2,00 €), as well as a mineral water (0,2l for 1,60 €). As with Asian soups, the broth was tasty, so the inlays were well appreciated with their own taste. Even before I had eaten the soup, the spring roll was served, which was obviously self-made. The filling proved to be a good mix of bean sprouts, cabbage strips and minced meat and was quite delicious. After all, I have the main court. A well-maintained chicken breast, cut into strips, lay on a chopped vegetables. In separate bowls came the rice and the so-called sharp sauce, which tasted clearly to garlic, but everything else was sharp. Otherwise, the food was quite delicious and also qualitatively good, the part would have been good even without the additional soup. Environment The furniture is made of dark wood with red seat cushions, the walls are soft green. Plastic sets with Asian motifs were placed at the tables in each place, with a memento with salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar and Sambal Oelek and one or two food warmers. The floor is covered with parquet in cube shape, on the walls some large-format images are hanging in partly very massive wooden frames with golden ornaments. Some Chinese lanterns and carved lamps hang on the ceiling and spread sufficient brightness. Cleanliness The restaurant was clean and well maintained, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. The toilet in the back of the building is not easy to find, but has been modernized since my last visit and was perfectly clean.
