On the evening of the second day in Klingenthal, I visited the opposite ski claw on the recommendation of a hotel employee. A sign at the house informs the visitor that to visit the restaurant you have to go to the basement, which is again flattering due to the slope at the back of the building. There is also a fixed area on which some tables were placed under parasols. Only one table was occupied at that time, so I had the free choice and sought a place in the shadow. Operation On my arrival no one was to see from the staff, but a few moments later a waiter came to my table, greeted me and handed me the menu. He then also asked if I already had a drink request, but I only wanted to look into the map and asked me to pay attention. While I looked at the offer of the map, he supplied the ladies with new drinks at the side table. He also provided the family that had arrived a little later, whose bribes had some very peculiar wishes, friendly and accommodating, and without the special wishes also only to the eyelashes. Essen The offer includes essentially German and regional dishes at relatively very favourable prices. Unfortunately, the food offer cannot be seen on the HP of the house. After a short consideration, I ordered “Holzmichl Teller 2 steaks, grilled sausages, peasant pasture, onions, garlic, roasted potatoes, salad” (€12.90), which was the top end of the offer. I chose a dark yeast white beer (0.5l for €2.80). This was served shortly after, a little later the waiter brought cutlery and a napkin. After a reasonable waiting period, I also got the main court. On the plate were two beautiful pork steaks, on the one hand the so-called grill sausage with plenty of ketchup, on the other a portion of onions and bacon. In addition, the roast potatoes, well prepared with roasting sites on practically every piece. They were fried without bacon and onions, but there was enough of both on one steak. The meat was nicely tender and juicy and was coated on the top with grated fresh garlic, which brought a clear sharpness to the whole. Vulnerability and in my eyes the grill sausage was superfluous, a sausage that had been cut in crosswise at both ends and then bathed in the friteuse. Ambience Since I only sat outside, I can't say anything about setting up the restaurant. The furniture outside is at any rate stable, with metal frames and seating surfaces and backrests of the chairs made of green plastic panels. Cleanliness The outdoor area was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. I didn't visit the toilet.

The room was badly heated. Price/quality ratio underground. Brows boring. Apple strudel a disappointment, tasted like froze. Operation sweet. Ice and hot broth were served simultaneously. Absolutely not recommended.

Wir kamen etwas später zum Mittagessen, aber das war kein Problem. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig, der Service war gut und das Ambiente angenehm. Insgesamt kommen wir immer wieder gerne. Essen: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphäre: 5.
