The portions were generous, the menu varied, and the prices reasonable for the quality.

I think we waited less than 10 m... read more Despite being busy and not having a reservation, we managed to get a table for two. Service was fast, and the food even faster. I think we waited less than 10 minutes for our order. The food was very hot, so it had to cool down a bit. Once it cooled down, we enjoyed it. Plates were filled to the brim with food, so portions weren't small. Cocktails are half price before 9:00 PM, so we took advantage of that. Ultimately, we spent a quick €60 for two main courses, two large cocktails, and a small cocktail to go. The only point of improvement was getting the staff's attention to order additional drinks or request the bill (it was quite busy). All in all, a good experience, and we will definitely return next time we're in Kleve. UPDATE OCTOBER 2025. Returned for a delicious meal. Unfortunately, the service (all men this time) was very unfriendly. I understand it's a part-time job, but treat customers respectfully. When I tried to order food, the staff member in question looked at me as if I were insulting him. His response was to ask if I really wanted food. He assumed I was just there for a drink. I ordered food, and it arrived quickly, just like last time. Unfortunately, one of the two portions was lukewarm. Such a shame. Then I tried to order another drink, and was again looked at with surprise and a half-anger. The staff member gave curt answers, and once I'd ordered, he simply walked away. When paying, they didn't even thank me for the tip. I'll be back in a while to see if the staff is in a better frame of mind. Conclusion: Fix the rude waitstaff! That would solve a lot! It's a shame they're taking a lot of money for such excellent food.
