Als wir zu dem Restaurant kamen, waren alle Plätze belegt. Die Bedienung war zwar offensichtlich sehr gestresst, hat uns jedoch gesagt, dass wir in einer halben Stunde noch einmal kommen können, dann ist sicher ein Platz frei. Sie hatte uns dann auch einen Tisch reserviert. Der Blick in die Karte überraschte uns mit einer ungeheuren Vielfalt der Angebote zu absolut bodenständigen Preisen. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant... Not much for lunch on Friday and didn't want a diner. German decor, standoffish waitress (in fact, but then in Germany) and indefinite pig carvings softened into fat. Lame gets white beer. Next time, I'll go to the Döner. View all feedback.
Nice, authentic spot. Very OK prices for very big portions. We took the Chateaubriand. Certaintly say yourself how you want your meat, ours was quite a point already.
This was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel and a group of us (7-8) went out for dinner. We were seated immediately without a reservation. The menu has a good selection of food and drink and the staff were helpful and friendly (with...good working English) providing recommendation and descriptions of the meals. A very friendly and cosy atmosphere and we would have back back if we had been staying longer in Kleve.

Good bourgeois restaurant with grounded German cuisine. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating. The food tastefully well matched. The price performance ratio was right. Unfortunately, this family-run restaurant also closes at the end of the year. It will certainly leave a gap in the local gastro landscape Meal type: Dinner
