This restaurant has long been in sound. There is a queue during dinner, so I would advise to come a little before 7:00. They are well cooked, but the food took awhile before serving. The first court came out and we had to wait for the second court for 15 minutes. View all feedback.
What John Sau doesn't like about Da Tuan Yuan:
Ordered 2 fish head Guiness pork ribs lala soup mix veg . I think the quality has dropped along the years. Used to yearn about coming to dine here. Pricing has also steadily climbed and it not as cheap as before. Rm 60/head. For people who have never tried it's still pretty decent food. It's also not as busy as before. View all feedback.
Very affordable. The marmite squid and ginger paste steam fish are delicious! The average size of the portion is large.
Traditional food made the old fashion. We had the steamed Garoupa head, black mushrooms Omelette, braided pig, sweet acid pig, Ilan bilis with onion and roasted spinach. It's been a long time since we have eaten with integrity and tradition. In any case again!!!

Service was fast n dishes came out quickly. Satisfaction guaranteed. Know that prices have risen, reflecting inflation...
The food is as good as ever. I just find it abit cold when served. The char siew siew yuk at RM25 each for such small portion is definitely overpriced.
