Contribute Feedback What John Syahrin likes about Cathay Hailam Kopitiam (sin Kok Thye):
Local traditional hainan style kitchen. Must try their hainan chicken stable served with chicken whole leg hack with sweet acid hainan sauce. Portion could be a little small, but enough for ladies. View all feedback.
It is a 'kopitiam' hidden under the bridge to North Port sound. Service is great and price is very reasonable. The Hainanese Cup differs somewhat from the famous KL version, but the taste is very good with the right combination of egg wash and banginess from the tomato sauce. The toast and hainanese coffee are standard as you would find in a quality hainanese 'kopitiam '. Also test other noodles on the menu and they are all on the point. I'll come by when I'm in the area and be long for a hainanesian chicken stall.

They seem to have a change management. Now the food is served fast, while still maintaining it's quality. Chicken chop, fish chop, hailam Mee is a must here. I like their teh c as well, as it has a fragrant tea taste which u don't find in most kopitiam. Place is very antique and quite small. It's a staple if u are at port Klang area!
Yummeh old school food. Manager gave assurance that meats are from halal suppliers and no alcohol is used. Awesome butter coffee, but don't stir the bottom if you can't take sweet drinks. Toast, chicken chop, mee hailam, tofu all excellent.
The chicken chop is good. while it may look plain but i really enjoy it. the wait can be pretty long. i finish my chicken chop before my drink arrive and my toast is still waiting. the environment inside give a retro vibe. one of those kopitiam that is still a melting pot of different races . unfortunately the reataurant is situated under a busy overpass which spolit the outside environment.
