Very friendly and helpful staff! They gave us some wonderful suggestions for places to visit. Our 43’ 5th wheel fit well with full hook ups. We were able to explore the area and had a wonderful time. View all feedback.
What T 3po doesn't like about Kamp Klamath Rv Park:
Decided not to stay. It’s surrounded by natural beauty but camping stacked on top of other campers is not what we were looking for and the woman who runs the office wasn’t extremely helpful. When you call to reserve a site, it seems like that should be something you can still do over the phone. I was told to go online and do it. I had terrible internet on the road and that seems like a small convenience that would ha... View all feedback.
We just spent an awesome weekend and called Kamp Klamath RV Park home for 3 days. The lot, grounds and amenities where lovely, and the staff were GREAT! It's easy (relatively) to keep a place looking nice, but it's the human touch that makes the difference. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kamp Klamath RV Park and will 100% be returning in the future.
Great variety of sites. We took one of the remote tent sites closer to the river. Very private. Facilities were a bit dated and could use a visitor-experience review (the complications of showering in a semi-open space) but that wouldn't effect my 5 stars, since the people working were so helpful and obviously put a lot of hard work in keeping everything tidy and functioning. Also the location. You can't get hardly closer to one of the great wonders of nature: the mouth of the Klamath River, where you get a sort of nature overload with hundreds of pelicans and seals and sea lions feasting on salmon and surfing the waves. Occasional otters and bears and eagles too. Also an ancient Yurok ceremonial Village. Highly recommended.
Hosts were very nice, camp was clean. The tent side has a lot of trees to tuck into. Quiet, peaceful. Just a short walk to the river. Showers are included!
Great little campsite, beautiful spots and great staff. The only suggestion I would give them is to add another bathroom building , three bathroom stalls and 2 showers(for each gender) is just not enough when the campground is full. The Sasquatch visit was great!
This was a great, well maintained campground. We appreciated the showers, which you can use without having to pay. My kids loved the playground and the field. When we arrived, check in was smooth and easy, and someone guided us to our sight and helped us back in. We visited with a pop up camping trailer but it was a great place to camp no matter what your gear. They had sites of varying privacy. Their little shop was well stocked with many items, including some grocery. The campground is nearby some great sight seeing spots we visited the trees of mystery, and we also enjoyed the coastal drive route. One of the nights a bear did come through and knocked over the trash cans so take the bear warnings seriously and make sure you don’t leave food out.
