The Dolce Vita is for food lovers, and I suggest to take your time for this wonderful experience. There is no such thing as a menu at the Dolce Vita, except for the excellent wine list. The chef greets you at the table, explains what he has, and it is up to you, what you pick and how you want to have it. We opted for a degustation menu and enjoyed some 5-7 mouthwatering starters, followed by fish and meet, and a round up with cheese and desert, while we saw delicious paste being served at neighboring tables. The restaurant is fairly small, which makes it cosy and familiar, so make sure to reserve your table.
My wife and I dined at the Dolce Vita last night. Having read a few reviews here we decided to give it a try. The service is outstanding and the food a surprise at every dish. Chef Stephan and server Florian were part of the diner charm. No menu at la Dolce Vita, the chef comes to your table and discusses what you like and dislike, allergies, constraints and what not. From that discussion he returns to the kitchen to compose dishes that are tasty, natural and a surprise for the palate. We had 7 different dishes, all as different as the planets in the system, shell fish, fish, deer meat ragout and home made gnocchis all as we'll prepared as no other chef would do. Make sure you try the pumpkin raviolis, a delight. The price is steep, but worth every penny or euro or dollar.
My wife and i dined here some time ago however we still talk about what a fantastic dinner we had. It was a fish based dinner with starters which included Fish Carpaccio's and seafood ravioli. These were accompanied by a glass of wine suggested by the chef. As a main we opted for the seabass cooked in a salt crust which was also fantastic and also accompanied by a glass of wine suggested by the Chef. One cannot help but comment on the exceptional service at this restaurant as well as how friendly the Chef Owner is. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank You.
This was the second time we dined here. The staff is very warm here and courteous. But the Chef is superb. He is very polite and inquires personally about your preferences. The end result is delicious dishes that have been cooked according to you. One feels like royalty, completely pampered and looked after.
