I want to begin by saying that this brewery serves the best beer in Maine, no question about it! While sipping on my refreshing BiCoastal IPA, I truly appreciated the atmosphere and the outstanding customer service; the bartenders are well-informed about their products! What Breezy L doesn't like about Definitive Brewing Company KITTERY:
I was a bit disappointed with Definitive Kittery, especially since we absolutely love the Portland location. The spot itself is charming, with a decent amount of outdoor seating and a bit of indoor space as well. It’s a clean and tidy place. The beer is fantastic, just like we remembered from Portland. Moreover, their stouts are among my favorites in the Seacoast/South New Hampshire area, even though they're technically not in New Hampshire. They're always looking for creative ways to enhance their beers and have great partnerships with other breweries, resulting in delicious and innovative collaborations. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and they even provide ice for drinks! I've already shared many wonderful aspects about them, but what impresses me the most is their exceptional customer service and willingness to provide information. I have a few food allergies and often have questions about beer ingredients, and they are always attentive and accommodating. You won’t be disappointed if you give them a try, no matter what type of beer you prefer!

However, the service left a lot to be desired. Normally, I wouldn’t mention this, but the girl at the counter was neither friendly nor helpful. She seemed uninterested in being there, which made us hesitant to stay for a second round. I hope she was just having an off day.
Definitiw has, without a doubt, the best selection of sour beers in the world—Belgium might be a different case! They offer a fantastic variety of styles, and the beers are always on point, making it a great incentive to keep coming back to try the latest offerings. They never disappoint! I can't say enough about how awesome Josh is; he really enhances the overall experience. This location near Boston is super comfortable, and we visit regularly since they almost always have new releases every week. The outdoor terrace is charming, and the taproom/bar itself is very cozy, making it the perfect spot no matter the season. While the Portland location is less intimate, it’s still a fantastic place to visit year-round, especially for a weekend getaway.

I've been visiting this location since I discovered it last summer. The Portland location, where the beer is primarily brewed, is where I first fell in love with Definitive, and Kittery is conveniently close to my home. If you're in search of great drinks and a relaxed vibe, definitely give it a try!
I'm so glad we decided to stop here! The menu offers a great variety of really unique options. It seems they have a lot of original dishes and prepare them very well. My friend also loved her IPAs and even got some to take home! There are tables outside and some seating inside. The beer selection was impressive and the staff was very helpful. They even serve non-alcoholic beer, which was nice, but I passed on that since I was feeling a bit off the day we visited. It's great that they offer it, though! The beer menu mentioned that many options are frequently rotating, so I'll definitely be back to try more next time! There's another location in Portland, but we stopped here since we were nearby, and it turned out to be a lucky choice!
