The staff at this restaurant in Kitimat are some of the friendliest people. I always have a great time dining here. My daughter and I especially love the chow mein and the excellent service. View all feedback.
I enjoyed a relaxing cup of coffee with a sandwhich and a "cookie". All were great on a rainy day. It is a nice stop in the Kitimat mall, especially when browsing for fishing gear next door and a cold, rainy, and windy day that kept us off the ocean. The owners were working and were very welcoming, it was a great value fir the price we paid.
The service is what it's all about. It was early morning and I had my little grandson for the day. There is no place to change babies in the mall and I really needed coffee as well as to let little one stretch his legs. M.O.M.s is a welcome, safe, clean spot to get your bearings. Located on the ground floor centre of the mall, there is often a coffee crowd of friendly folk chatting nearby which is comforting when you're a stranger with a Baby. The staff magically procured a folding highchair contraption and brought our food over. Mostly the staff smiled frequently and were kindly so I'm going back.
Small restaurant located in the middle of the mall. Lots of tables and chairs for customers. Lots of different ethnic foods. Portuguese bifanas and their rice pudding are my favorite. Also their milk tarts which are only made on Wednesdays are amazing. Get there early as they disappear quickly.
A small stand in the mall. They serve very good French fries and good chicken strips, hotdogs and very good poutine. Good friendly service and very good prices
This food bar is located in the Kitimat Shopping Center on the bottom floor. On the day we visited, the shopping center was completely empty and very quiet. We sat at one of the few tables available to have lunch that we had purchased from another food bar since this one had no seating due to Covid concerns. The server from Mom's food bar approached us and asked if we had bought lunch from there, to which we replied no. We were then asked to leave the table, which was disappointing as there were only four tables in the common area of the shopping center and they were all empty. It's no wonder the shopping center was deserted. It's a shame that Kitimat encourages locals to support businesses, yet we couldn't even sit at the only tables available in the middle of the day. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere, like many other residents.
