Caffe Mauro - Kiti

The place we visited was called Mikel Coffee so, I'm not sure if the place has changed its name or Google got my location wrong! Anyway this was a lovely Coffee shop, I liked the atmosphere and the coffee was good. Although we didn't eat anything, there was a nice selection of pastries and cakes on display and it seems they serve pancakes too. We met our friend here and it was a good place to socialise and catch up, especially as there was torrential rain outside. I only wish that I could find a Coffee shop like this in England to go to with my friends instead of the bland and boring big brand named ones that we seem to be awash with.

Their only claim to fame is that they are slightly better than the notoriously bad 'coffee island ' who are their main rivals in the area. The Cyprus coffee is drinkable but at 2 EUR for a double it is at least half a euro over priced. The Freddo Cappuccino is OK but nothing to write home about.

You order sweet and they serve you no sugar, your order syrop they charge you for it but they don't put it. Thanks a lot...worst service ever...

Try to keep competent staff and make sure the pastries are always available! Maybe people would return then!
