This has become my place for my weekly meals. I had no time to cook because of work and Sahar?s The kitchen was a delicious life savior. Your food can never impress. Currently obsessed with reordering chicken Lababdar and chicken chettined, which make the owners friendly extra sharp for me!

I usually write 5 star reviews, but I felt like this writing. I ordered the chief Special Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and it was nowhere near these heavy words. People who give 5 star ratings for biryani have no idea what Hyderabadi Biryani is. Hyderabadi Biryani is my favorite and I had authentic Biryani in the city of Hyderabad many times (with Mirchi ka Saalan). So I know what I'm talking about. What I got in Sahar's kitchen was more like Chicken Fried Rice with an Indian spicy mix. If that's what it said on the menu, I would probably have given a better rating. But I feel betrayed for what was served in the name of Hyderabadi Biryani. My suggestion to the owners would be to change the name of the plate or to go to Hyderbad at their next visit to India and try how authentic Hyderabadi Biryani really tastes. Unfortunately, what you do is nowhere near. There is a reason why most of the 5 star reviews are people who have never visited India/Pakistan.

I ordered Veg thali and it was really delicious that I can just put it in words. In addition, the staff was very supportive and friendly. We were 10 friends and ordered tea and they made it in great amount that we can all enjoy freely. The atmosphere was also beautiful.

The taste of the food is so delicious that I am speechless. Must taste Indian restaurant in the kitchen in downtown.

Sahar?s has been a staple restaurant in our household. The staff are incredibly kind and the food is delicious! It is a bit spicy, so just make sure to check in about a particular dish if you?re sensitive to spice. Thank you for years of tasty food!!!
