This restaurant is perfect for brunch, breakfast, and lunch. Make sure to check their operating hours before going, as they are not open every day. They serve light and airy pizzas, sandwiches, and soups, all made in-house. You can also purchase their delicious pate to take home. I love everything they offer, and even just sitting down for a coffee is enjoyable, especially when you can play some vinyl on their record... View all feedback.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. I picked up some meals that are convenient for the week. I will definitely be making it a weekly stop.
I arrived at about 5:30 on Wednesday night to grab something to eat before an art class. Not my first time there. But sitting on the counter was a single serve pizza. I make great pizza so I am very discerning. I have had it here before by the slice and it was good. The one I got on Wednesday night was divine. The Artichoke, the meat, the cheese, the heavenly crust was a mix of bread texture and phyllo. Absolutely gourmet and delicious. By the way I do not like cold pizza...oops did it again it was great cold. I ate 1/2 and 2 of my peanut butter cookies and was totally elated. It is going to be the most popular little bistro and cafe in Kitchener, if I have anything to say about it. I've been there Saturday's for Capuccino, sticky buns, scones, and always take home a loaf of bread. Just a delightful place to visit for an inexpensive and filling healthful treat. Helpful staff too. There are meals too in a freezer fridge thing. ( gotta try that next) And when we have gone noonish on Saturdays there are little kids and babies there in booster chairs. So suffice it to say it serves all ages.
While this place has been open for a few months, today was my first encounter with this combo cafe/bakery/market. It may be categorized by some as serving the local neighborhood. But it is worth driving across the city for.The very good attributes:* excellent baking ...I had a fabulous sticky bun which must have had maple syrup on it, and a very good strawberry/blueberry. I took home a great loaf of sour dough bread. A variety of other breads and baked goods are available. The goods are very fresh. The oven was active while I was there.* great coffee ... I had an Americano and my wife had a cappuccino.* lots of good looking, prepared meals to take away if you want something to take home * a number of grocery items for sale ... things to eat immediately or higher end ingredients for your own cooking at home. Some things to be aware of ...The food and drinks seem to only be available in paper cups/boxes with plastic cutlery. This is not a place for a quiet, romantic meal. There are only 3-4 tables situated in the corner of the market. There is lots of light since the tables are beside large windows facing he street. There is a little station for children to play ... a nice touch if you are bringing younger children.
A charming German Christmas market takes place every year for 4 days at Kitchener City Hall.
