A friend and I recently went to McCabe's after work to catch up after two years for 1/2 price wings. The pints of beer were only $5.00 and the wings were $5.99 for a pound. I had the Irish Beer BBQ sauce which had a bite to it but was very tasty and she had one of the dry rub sauces with jalapenos on the side. The wings were steaming hot and very meaty, a pleasant surprise from a few other places I've had chicken win... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about McCabe's Irish Pub & Grill:
I'd like to say this place is standard pub fare but even that would be too generous. The food here is sub-par. Whenever I decide to give this faux-irish pub another chance, I'm let down once again. I really want to like you. It's a great location with a nice rooftop patio. Spacious booths with big garage door windows that open in the summer. Lots of TVs. But the food is just not good. Whatever you do, don't order the... View all feedback.
He went along the king st. and tried to find a pub that had charm and authenticity. Unfortunately, this is the same level of phonity and similar, if not identical, company brews (or dressed as microbrows). is no one original? had a guinness and the...Cauliflower bits that were tiny nubs and mostly deep fried teigs. uh, asked if they might put the jays on the screens instead of ny baltimore staff didn't know how to use it. keep the expectations low as with the others along king and they will be in order.
Atmosphere is nice, but service super slow. and eating was very dirty. had her signature burrito and it was terrible: . hubby had the stirring frit and daughter had the chicken fingers...Fries were the best part of the meal.
Oh, my excellent burgers. try them like homemade and stacked hight with toppings. next house salat fantastic, love her dressing. my children love the wings. perfect place for an excellent eating with the family.
The child is here for dinner, the prizes are very reasonable, eating for the greatest part was good, my steak was mainly made beautiful and our waitress was kick-a!!! but! if you want to put so much effort into making a good steak to. I knew the maic was cold as soon as the fork hit her, broke apart crystallized so to speak. if I have to interrupt my dinner, or seemingly the waitress (which is not her fault) has to blame for something as simple as warming kartoffels, then I cannot be harassed to return.
I would like to say this was a great find but I can't... The hotel clerk recommended this place and we ubered there $30) and had kinda cold pint beer and 2 sub par main dishes. I had the pizza which was okay but not...wow- but eh it was only $13.00 -but I read reviews before hand and i was kinda stoked but... The second dish we had was a chicken pita sandwich and it too was okay but not wow- the french fries were nasty.. so overall 6/10.. the beer was a big wait and was kinda warm
