Great deli, amazing smoked meats. Prices are half of some of the other specialty stores...they also make custom sandwiches at lunch. Good desserts too.

Had a last minute charter thrown at me and didnt have time to pack a lunch. So after dropping the group at Chicopee ski hill, i zipped over to Italo food store. Its an Italian and Polish specialties shop. I had the nice lady at the deli meat counter offer to build me a custom made to order sandwich. You get to pick out your own preference of fresh baked bun, then select whatever meats and cheeses you feel like. She puts mayo and mustard on it if you like. Sold by weight, and mine had hot mortadella, italian salami and smoked gouda on a large crusty panini style bun for $4.10. Totally delicious.

I love the deli here. However sometimes it is so busy you wait a half hour to get service. Make sure you have time. Much cheaper than Vinccenzo's for the same food but not as pretty, nor do they have eat in or hot items.

For nearly 18 years, I have been coming to this restaurant for all of my European grocery needs. The people, products, and service are truly exceptional.
