Golden Dynasty - Kitchener

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and it is my favorite spot in the area! The staff is always quick and friendly. Whether you are in the mood for popular Chinese dishes like sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls, or more traditional authentic options, this place has something for everyone. I highly recommend trying the hot and sour soup and don't forget to save room for dessert! My only suggestion would be for them to switch to more sustainable, reusable, or recyclable containers for takeout. If they did, I would definitely order extra to enjoy later. Unfortunately, polystyrene containers are commonly used in the industry, so I can't fault them too much for it.

The positive aspect of this restaurant is its grandeur. I typically dislike giving negative reviews of local businesses, but here is the downside: a friend and I went for lunch today and unintentionally ended up ordering too much food - about 2 to 3 times more than we could consume (totaling $110). The waiter who took our order did not warn us about the portion sizes. When the first course arrived shortly after placing our order, we realized the mistake and my friend inquired about canceling some items. Unfortunately, our request was denied. Given the timing of subsequent dishes, it seemed unlikely that all courses could be stopped at that point.

At last, we found a Chinese restaurant with excellent dishes! We have tried many Chinese restaurants before, but they all seemed mediocre. Today, we decided to give Golden Dynasty a try, and everything we ordered was exceptional. From the house fried rice to the sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, spicy salted pork, and egg rolls, every dish surpassed our expectations. We haven't had Chinese food this good in the past 3-4 years. Bravo, we will definitely be returning soon.

The best amount in kw? chicken feet, roasted teigreisrolle, deep roasted tofu and siu mai are must-try!

So glad to see this place has been back to dim sum dine in. Take out dim sum here is great but it is great when you can dine in. Always friendly staff, great food and portion sizes. A favourite for me.
