Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, "The Fork and Cork", offers a mixed dining experience according to recent reviews. While some found the wine list and ambiance lacking, others praised the delicious food and exceptional service. The menu is varied and creative featuring gourmet pizza, steaks, and local craft beers. The staff's knowledge and willingness to accommodate special dietary requirements were commended. Guests enjoyed unique dining experiences like wine pairings and "meet the maker" events. The casual yet sophisticated atmosphere, along with the focus on fresh, local ingredients, makes this Kitchener establishment a hidden gem for fine dining enthusiasts.
We went for our anniversary and were treated and fed like a king and queen!
My husband and I ate here on Father's Day. I was surprised that the restaurant was so quiet on this special day. My husband ordered the sausage and pork chop entree and was extremely pleased with the flavours. He loves spicy food and he thought the sausages were great! He also commented on the great flavour of the pork chop. I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin and was prepared for it to be a bit tough, but it was more like a tenderloin..so tender and flavourful! We also enjoyed the starter brussel sprouts and the olives. We chose a bottle of red wine that we throughly enjoyed, as well. We were too stuffed for dessert. It was our first visit, but it won't be our last. Our server, Taylor, was very hands on and helpful about the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We loved the hanging terrariums!
We had pre-booked and I felt that we were given just a mediocre table. Our server was extremely professional but we didn 't see her very often. The wine list by the glass was very mediocre especially considering the name of the restaurant is 'Fork and Cork '. It would also be nice to have a better selection of a sparkling wine by the glass. On the positive side the steaks were cooked just right, according to the type of steak it was, and the frites were good, along with the salad. This restaurant has the feel of 'The Keg ' rather than an independently run establishment.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! It never fails to impress. This was our sixth visit and we are eagerly looking forward to our next dinner.
Nothing bad to say, which is a good thing! All around nice place to have lunch
