Service has always been fantastic at this location and tonight was no different! Scott was very friendly and totally down to earth. He's newer to the Chuck's family , but not to serving and it showed. It took a bit longer than normal to get my drink . but I think Scott was just trying to make sure I really appreciated the bubbly goodness once I got it! ; I had my usual club sandwich and sweet potato fries. Fries came... View all feedback.
What Okelo doesn't like about Chuck's Roadhouse Grill:
Good vibes, friendly service , lots tv screens to watch the games. Cheap drinks, Food was delicious, appetizers half off after 9pm the BBQ wings was tossed but over sauced. Table serves takes long, they take to long to come check on you. View all feedback.
Best deal for food around. Cheap martinis too if you like those, cheapest you'll find in town and decent. Stay away from the BBQ if you don't like sweet, I usually stick to a burger or steak.
The wait staff were decent. The hostess was very friendly, and the wait staff were clearly doing a pretty good job of waiting on the diners. The atmosphere was decent as well. A regular sports bar. Not too loud or too busy, which was nice.An odd thing was that they only had a single women 's washroom, but the men 's washroom seemed to have multiple stalls (or urinals). There was a family washroom, too, but still a bit strange to only have a single washroom for women. The food was pretty terrible, to be honest. I had the chicken fingers and fries. The plum sauce was probably the best part. Fries were extremely dry, and even ketchup didn 't help them. I asked for the chicken fingers to be done a little extra (I like my chicken dry), and I guess I did get what I asked for. However, I really have had better chicken fingers in frozen kid 's meals. It was rough. My mom had the BBQ chicken breast, and she (who didn 't order her chicken well done) said it was barely edible. Even with the sauce it came with.We had the bread pudding for dessert, which is actually described as brown sugar cake. It might legitimately be the sticky toffee pudding from M&M food market. The frozen one you microwave. That being said, I actually really like that cake, so I thought it was decent, but definitely nothing to write home about.
Only thing that they should do is remove the Honest to Goodness fee. I have no issues with the higher price, but it feels sneaky to advertise a menu price and then tack on an extra 3% at the end. It 's the same as just raising prices 3%. The only difference is that the restaurant gets to use it as a marketing ploy to get people to buy more. 3% sounds smaller than the inflated prices, so the psychological effect it plays on the consumer is to ignore the fee and decide based on the menu price, ultimately generating them more revenue. I get it, but it feels sneaky.
I wish I’d looked at these reviews before going here for my sons birthday dinner. We should have walked out right from the first encounter with the girls at the front. Our server was okish, until we wanted the bill and she disappeared. The food was so bad I really didn’t want to pay for it I couldn’t even leave a tip for our experience tonight. The worst part was I had to talk my son out of getting dessert because of the lack of acknowledgment from staff. We won’t be back
Scott our server was wicked. Absolutely friendly and warming. Great personality and overall amazing. Good came out quick he was quick to refill beverages as well as make sure the food was tasting fine. 10/10 thank you Scott!
