China Taste - Kitchener

We moved to Kitchener and have been trying different Chinese places in our area. We have found that every place including this one is just plain no taste or passion for what they cook. The only place we like is the mandarin. This place the rice is bland no flavor and the peas are either frozen, overcooked or stale. The chicken ball sauce is by far the weirdest tasting chicken ball sauce ive ever tasted. The chicken egg noodle only had three pieces of chicken and very skim vegetable servings. I would not recommend this place to anyone sorry too say.

I had a Chicken curry dish and ate in. It was served hot and the portion size was good with lots of vegetables. I didn't like the fact that the food was served with plastic and styrofoam containers and plate with plastic cutlery. There's not much ambience to the place and the bathroom needs updating. I wouldn't be in a big hurry to return.

This Chinese Food restaurant is primarily a take out place although they do offer two or three tables. The food we ordered was very good. It was just ready when I got there. They do offer free delivery over $25.00. I was disappointed they didn't offer a seniors discount. If you payed cash you got some little thing free. If you payed with a credit card you got nothing. They really need to change that. The girl who takes your order should really practice her English as she is very hard to understand.Overall, the food was very good and lots of it. We have had take out there many times and have never been disappointed. We especially like their combination plates.We spent a little over $50.00 and had enough for two meals and then some.

In a strip mall with a couple of tables. Mostly take out and delivery. Serve a decent inexpensive lunch combinations for $5.95 Have eaten here several times and always nice and hot and fresh tasting. Nothing gourmet but quite tasty.

It's mostly a take away so don't expect ambianceThere are cheap lunch specials until 3 and the combination plates are around $8.50
