Reviews summary
Was maple at Bread Heads a mag?
I was surprised to find majority of the menu items meatless. There is a tuna melt and ham melt, but pizzas comprised mainly of fresh produce and cheese. Y was sorely disappointed after looking forward to having a hearty, meaty pizza. View all feedback.

Whilst looking for a place to eat (in the middle of the pouring rain), we came across Bread Heads. It was a small and inviting place that was lit up (both literally and metaphorically) by the authentic wood burning oven on premises and in full view. As both my partner and I are vegetarian, we were able to order one vegetarian pizza and modify a meat one. We waited a short period for the food, and when it came we were impressed. The food tasted fresh and the quality of produce was obvious. This is probably the best wood oven pizza we've had in Canada and would highly recommend this place to all who appreciate a quality product. Prices were very reasonable and almost comparable to a regular pizza place.
This pizza was served to me in record time, taking less than 5 minutes for a 9 inch pie to be placed in front of me. The pizza was topped with a harmonious amount of cubed roasted vegetables, which initially made me question the portion size, but I soon realized that the thin, light crust didn't require a heavy topping. The crust had a delicious char from the hot oven and a buttery quality reminiscent of an English muffin. There was no raw dough, only a light, leavened crust sweetened by mild cheese and reduced balsamic vinegar. The price was justified by the quality of ingredients, and I would consider returning for a muffin and a cup of coffee.

This place has been on my radar for some time. I have seen it on the Urbanspoon 's 'Talk of the Town ' list a few times and have even attempted to visit on a Saturday...before it was open on Saturdays.
Bread Heads is the latest restaurant to open in town. After hearing a coworker rave about the delicious wood-fired pizza they serve, I couldn't resist suggesting we go there next Tuesday. When we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and efficient young staff who didn't let the heat of the kitchen slow them down. Despite the sweltering air outside, we found a couple of bar stools and settled in to enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of the cafe.

Delicious, made-to-order pizza that arrives quickly! The wood-fired cooking method adds a lovely smoky flavor. It's even better if you call ahead to order.
The medium pizza had scant toppings that were off-putting. The restaurant's operating hours are inconvenient and the female staff, possibly the owner, always seems to be frowning. Their lack of customer appreciation is evident.
Hands down the best pizza in the area. One bite is all it takes to realize you are eating something special.
This is just what we had been searching for since moving to the area last year. Thin crust, wood-fired oven pizza with a perfect crust (organic flour) and superb sauce made with San Marzano tomatoes. We ordered three pizzas for a Saturday dinner at home and everyone loved them. The margherita was excellent with its fresh basil on top; the Canadian got top marks from our diners, and the Chicken Pesto was very tasty. Its cartelized onions were a welcome taste surprise. We'll be back...very soon! And we'll be signing up for bagel and bread making lessons too.
