The food is high quality and delicious, from the cheese and meat manakeesh to the shawarma and kabobs. The ambiance is elegant yet family-friendly, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. While the noise level can be a bit high, the service is fast and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices, making it a great choice for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Overall, Arabesque provides a filling and delicious cross-cultural dining experience worth revisiting.
We were invited by friends to lunch after church along with Arab missionaries, and the designated eatery was Arabesque, which we had never visited, but which served Middle Eastern food. Having lived in Montreal and made Egyptian friends, we had sampled some Middle Eastern food. It would not be our first choice, but we are always open to new cross-cultural experiences. We were greeted by our server and received menus. There was a wide selection of dishes. Our friends. who had been there before, advised us that a single plate between two was more than sufficient (they always went home with boxes afterwards). We took them at their word. Since I am a meat lover, we ordered the shawarma plate with rice, pita bread, and a Jerusalem salad. Before the main course, the server brought a large tray of appetizers of several kinds. The taste of each was different from what I am used to, but pleasant to the palate. The shawarma was very good. I used the salad, rice, meat, and sauces to fill (several) pitas, and consume it in a fashion I am used to. My friend was right--there was more than enough food! We encouraged our friends to box up the remains of our meal and take it home with them. A filling experience in a land of different, but delicious, taste from our usual! The service was exemplary, and the establishment was spotless.
We really like the food here. Very tasty shawarma, kabobs and falafel. Portions are large. Dinner plates come with a choice of salad bowl, fries or rice, oven fresh pita bread and hummus. You have to be hungry to eat it all. The only problem is the noise. It is a large hard room and the sound really bounces. Many families with small children eat here and giggles and shrieks add to the friendly atmosphere.
Went here for the first time. I took customers on their request. The food was great...big portions. Service was very fast. My only knock is their is no alcohol served there. Will go again.
Best shawarma in K-W hands down! We order take out, delivery and eat in here. I can't get enough. Fresh pitas made on site. Deep friend cheese is to die for. Shakes are sooooo good. I love this place. Friendly staff, fast service and fast delivery. I don't go anywhere else, as they can't even begin to compare.
First, I love the fresh bread and hummus dip! Secondly, my son who chooses to eat vegetarian introduced my family to Arabesque where we found many "meat lover" meals. Prices are reasonable especially since the portions are large.
