The service at this restaurant is outstanding and the staff are very friendly. The portions of food are very generous. The quality of the food and the attention to detail for customers are excellent. It has a very family-friendly atmosphere. It's always busy so make sure to book ahead. I first visited this restaurant 25 years ago and it has continued to maintain its high quality. Let me start by saying, I LOVE Kobe and really hope this was just a very off night. While the portions are normally very generous, I thought the portions of fried rice, noodles, and vegetables were very small ⦠which doesnât make sense since the food cost of these items have to be negligible for a $50 $60 meal. I ordered the 10 oz filet and added chicken 60); the filet and chicken were great as usual but the rice, noodles, and vegetables were all slightly undercooked (maybe short staffing made the chef have to rush to get to the next table) and significantly smaller than the regular portion size. Overall a disappointing experience for nearly $300 for 4 people. Hope just a one off.
