What Riley L doesn't like about Taco Buddha:
Place was talked up pretty good but after eating here, my experience was mediocre at best. The service was fine. Its the food that is lacking. There are much better taco restaurants in STL. I'd give the margaritas about the same grade, a C. View all feedback.
Great tacos, great atmosphere and fast friendly service. I recommend the portobello mushroom California taco or the Thailand taco Bulls were amazing and one is a snack to is a meal the Mexican street corn was really really good too
Ordered a fairly large curb-side order for a client, service was great and everything was correct. Online order was very easy. I had a couple of the Taos, they were very good and larger than I expected (for street style tacos). I 'll be back to try some more.
Taco Buddha is an absolute delight! From the moment you step inside, the vibrant décor and cozy ambiance make you feel welcomed and at ease. The food is nothing short of spectacular—each dish bursting with fresh, authentic flavors that truly satisfy. Every bite feels like a culinary adventure, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into both the preparation and presentation. The atmosphere is lovely, perfect for a casual outing or a relaxed meal with friends. The service is friendly and attentive, making sure that every visit feels special. The only small downside was the counter-ordering system. While it’s understandable for a casual spot, having to get up to order and pay separately for multiple drinks was a bit of an inconvenience. However, this minor detail hardly detracts from the overall experience, which was nothing short of wonderful. We absolutely loved our time at Taco Buddha and will definitely be back soon!
Food was delicious! Start with only 2 tacos because the portions are good. The Baja and Thailand were our favorite, Del Rio and Jodhpur were really good as well. We’ll be back to try others.
I rate it a three as the kids did not relish their food ! don’t have many kid options! The chicken and cheese quesadilla was spicy but tasty if you like them spicy! My fish taco had a slight smell and the chicken taco was about ok ! could finish it only after adding salt to it! Nothing mouth watering! Vegetarian options are few but mom liked her cauliflower taco! Atmosphere is family friendly but don’t think i d like to repeat in a hurry
