The only reason I give it some stars is because it 's close to Addo elephant park.. the interior of the rooms was lovely.. but the rest was aweful... The pictures don 't show that you can end up in a location away from the main campus...no pool nothing.. while we went out they cleaned the room and left windows open with no security or mosquito protection... with our stuff inside...in mzansi..really..in December??? .they kept on changing our reservation and claiming to give us something better when we paid for more, when we were trying to check in..it took forever... The food was abismal.. neither steak not seafood was any better.. we gave it two tries..but the food tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave oven..we could see it in our waiter 's face that she knew that the food was not great..but she was fantastic and tried to make the best of it.. . As a south African who was travelling with foreign nationals who have a lot to contribute and maybe even invest in the leisure economy..I was ashamed... I expected a bit more than what you would get at a place in Johannesburg central.. but well .. I hope they heard our feedback.. it took about an hour to check in..after driving for some six or so hours from Pretoria... We gotta do better.. it doesn 't take much ...to be honest.. rather have a good set menu than a rubbish al a carte menu. Happy to give more feedback privately.. we can only do better by growing each other.. but we still have far to go..
