Very strange lady behind the bar. I think she’d had a few sherbets. She would serve locals but not people she did not know. Weird.
We’ve been to Y’s Bar a handful of times while up in Yorkshire from London. We’ve always had great service from Yolanda and everyone seems to know each other and it’s got a good friendly vibe. Will be returning again and again and again!
Called in here last Saturday with friends. Will never go back as long as the Women behind the bar is running the place. I think her name is Yolanda so I have been informed. With all the new drinking establishments In Holmfirth. You would...think she would treat her customers with a little more respect. After all,how does she think she’s gets a income off a money tree!!! The way she dealt with my complaint over a pt of beer that was obviously past it’s sell by date was disgraceful. I can only presume she has had enough of the place and is trying to run it into the ground. Plenty of other customer friendly establishments in Holmfirth that welcome you in, provide good service, which makes you go back.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with a fantastic bar. We enjoyed the delicious tzatziki, hummus, and heavenly mango dip. The kids loved it too, and we ended up ordering three additional pitas to share. It was great value for money, especially since there were four of us and we were all quite full after the meal. The staff were excellent and we look forward to visiting again soon.
