Love love love this place!!!! The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome! We have breakfast here once a week at the moment, and the menu for other meals looks mouthwatering... I love the fact that I can get drinks made with any sort of milk, from whole milk to soya milk, low fat spread on sandwiches and toast, gluten free and vegetarian! Nothing is too much trouble!

The food was good. Nice and hot. However service was slow..the first plate took 25min to arrive. Only one person in the kitchen..that may have been the reason!?

I brought my mom here for her birthday and we had a roast dinner. She really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service was good. The only downside was that the portions were a bit small.

The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The cafe could use a fresh coat of paint, and unfortunately there was no heating so it was very cold. The food was presented nicely but arrived cold, making for a disappointing experience. The staff were nice and polite, but it's not acceptable to serve lukewarm food in a cafe with no heating. I'm sorry, but I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I had a delicious Make Your Own Panini at this restaurant, with goats cheese, peppers, and caramelized onions. I was impressed by the effort put into preparing and presenting the dish, and the coffee was also excellent. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

We needed some lunch whilst in the area, so called at 'Troff ', Hubby chose pie peas and a coffee, I went for the small breakfast without beans, there was plenty of other items on the plate ; bacon, sausage, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes fried bread with buttered toast, I had a large tea too. The meals were tasty and reasonably priced, around £8.50, Bargain!. Since our last visit they 've had a makeover with natty tables the chairs fit snugly around, and also the loo 's been treated to a wash brush up. A friendly well run cafe, handy for the shopping area of Milnsbridge.

Calling before one of our trips to ALDI, We had lunch at 'Troff ', I chose the lasagne meal which came with a good salad garlic bread [I declined the chips]. To be honest the generosity of the portion left no room for chips, they would have needed to be served on a seperate plate!. My lunch was delicious, and the salad had nice extras like; egg, corn, celery radish all of which I really like. My husband went down the traditional route of eggs chips for his choice, and he thoroughly enjoyed it too, A mug of tea coffee were our drinks to go with. We 've enjoyed all our meals from Troff up to now and hope to continue doing so. The staff are lovely, and they can cook!

Nice eating served here, nice atmosphere. the staff was very quiet and I was not sure if she heard me when I ordered my food when she never recognized me, just wrote everything down and ran out. a smile would not hurt. would still come back

Good service friendly staff.a little expensive. Very good for kids, there must be a dozen slushie machines. The panini's looked very nice.

Love troff! amazing staff eating is to die and the uv brought in so many new things to be happy

Very helpful, very nice sandwiches bacon a tad salty. but only a slight weight. the lady who served me did not sanitate their hands after the circumvent with money. then treated my sandwich to clean in bag without hands. apart from this little Miss-Hap 10/10. I was a few times before I never had a problem. it is a beautiful little sandwich shop.

It's a good cafe. If you like sluts, you met paydirt. the interieur still recovers from the Covid question and there is little to no atmosphere now. the food was good.
