The pub had new owners and they were really friend... read more Went into the Scape House pub near where my parents live for a family meal on a Monday night without booking. The pub had new owners and they were really friendly and welcoming and had lots of great ideas for building a real community pub. Wish them all the best in their new venture and the food was absolutely fantastic, great value for money and some fine real ales from Bradfield Brewery and Timothy Taylor's. Well worth a visit

We sampled the fish and chips and they were very nice! big portions too! I think the best thing about this pub is the atmosphere, very cosy and warm and welcoming. The new manager and his partner were lovely and attentive even though it was busy. Wishing them a great future there! Will definitely drive over again soon
