The Liversedge is excellent! We passed by on a Friday night on our way to a birthday party in Cleckheaton. We checked in without any issues and found our rooms to be very clean and well-equipped. We then headed to the restaurant for lunch, and the food was outstanding. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely return! View all feedback.
What James and Julia doesn't like about Lillibets:
What can I say? You get what you pay for. It is cheap food for people without much money. I hate to sound snobby, so forgive me but this pub has food aimed at limited budget families, which is fine but it isn't good. The ribs are all fat. The burger is cheap. However, the chicken and bacon salad is actually VERY good! Oh, it is a 2 for 1 and if you turn up with 3 people, you don't get the extra meal (that you paid fo... View all feedback.
We're here a few times now and honestly, I can't say anything about our experiences. from bar staff and waiters to the feed and drink. I always find it basar, but pleasantly quiet on a Sunday to say how fantastic it was eating. they would expect it to wipe out the door. it's such a nice pub that we'll definitely be back.
I can't really fault the place. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced well kept Guinness which is always a plus, very quick service for tasty food from the fairly decent menu.... I will definitely return.. well done to all thankyou
Attended in a large group for my work leaving do . Without fail, staff here are pleasant, efficient and polite. As ever the food was perfect lots of different dishes at our table; eg. salmon, tuna, scampi. All arrived at the same time, all hot and on hot plates, and beautifully cooked. Thank you, Helen and Chris.
Stayed overnight as a Britstop in our motorhome and we were made to feel very welcome. Friendly staff and good value food. Doggy friendly with pleasant walks along a disused railway from the car park. Look forward to when we can visit again.
At the end of September we took over the six hotel rooms for students attending a weekend Aikido course. Students had travelled from as far as a field as Japan, the North East and Lowestoft. Every one was very pleased with their rooms which were clean modern and comfortable. The breakfasts provided were very good. The owner and the staff were very helpful, polite and pleasant. A group of twelve of us had a meal in the pub on the Friday night. Food was very good and varied I don't know how they provide quality food at this price. Service was very good also. I would ignore the older reviews the Liversedge has changed vastly and is worth a visit for food or just a drink.
