Fortune Cookie - Kirklees

Ordered BBQ Spare Ribs. Disgusting, hard and dry came in very little watery oil sauce. I asked for loads of bbq sauce didnt do what I asked. Ribs also had a funny smell. Chow Mein tasteless. Can of coke was warm. Really annoyed. Waste of money. Not ordering from you ever again.

I just came back from 6 months abroad and was really craving a Chinese, so ordered one to my partners house. I got the wrong door number by 1 digit which was then followed by an aggressive and confrontational phone call from the staff, and followed by allegedly lying about my address and not giving the correct one on purpose. I remained apologetic throughout but this seemed to rile her up more. This was then followed by them saying they’d send it back out for delivery but it would be cold as they can’t re-heat it which was fair enough…this was then followed by another hour and 15minute wait and another phone call which I got my partner to answer following the animosity of the first. This saga and huffiness continued from 1900-2130 to which point, I was so upset and annoyed by the interaction the food went in the bin. My partner tried some of the crispy shredded chicken and said it was probably best to bin it all anyway. What a great start to being back in the UK. Actively avoiding this takeaway.

Just a takeaway food is okay, but it's not my preferred choice

Really fast delivery, which was good but also bad considering it took them 10 minutes to deliver duck chicken curry and noodles Duck was really fatty greasy and slimy. Also was on the bone still so was really hard for me to eat. Chicken curry was frozen when we received it. And all the food in general just didn’t taste good. We also requested for no veg in any of the food but they obviously didn’t read the request, or the food is just frozen and they couldn’t be arsed taking it out. 0/10 don’t eat here. Also seen other people say that this places food has made them ill.

Please please don’t get duck. I got a quarter duck, when it arrived it didn’t look quite right very slimy and fatty. I only managed one pancake. I have been very very unwell today. Very bad stomach. Even the dog has had it and isn’t well. Clearly they must have refrozen defrosted meat. I feel absolutely dreadful.
