Eastern Spice - Kirklees

Very quiet, but we have booked for opening times and picked up as the night went, that was eating well and standard restaurant prices.

The best place for a curry here, not too much oil, friendly service, good price, amazing tasting eating, the supplier I had today was beautiful and cheerful. I have been here for years and it was always amazing to eat its consistently high quality.

Excellent curry is always hot when delivered need not wait long

Really lovely food, not oily at all, well cooked and full of flavour. Naan bread was excellent, as was the aloo gobi and the Vegetable Karahi was outstanding. Good sized portions (my subjective view only) and good service. Bring your own alcohol (there's an off licence 200m away on the same side of the road). Only slight annoyance on the night I visited was the noise from the kitchen/behind the scenes it sounded like an industrial vacuum cleaner was being used! Would I return? Absolutely, highly recommended.

Same as always, great... has been for 36 years, a little wooden hut in the old days.
