The drinks here are consistently fantastic, and they offer a delicious selection of food items on the menu, as well as tempting treats in the display case at the counter. On a few occasions, I have popped in for a flat white and ended up leaving with a delicious freshly baked cake treat (most recently, a lovely slice of Simnel Cake which was a new experience for me). Additionally, during the week, they sell loaves of Roger's Bread (a local artisan baker) which are absolutely delicious. I grabbed one this morning along with my caffeine fix. The upstairs area has a bright and modern feel, while downstairs is a cozy spot with extra seating and tables. Location-wise, commuters in Huddersfield are fortunate to have this cafe just a short walk from the train station. It's the perfect spot to kick off a morning trek into work! If you're lucky, your visit may coincide with a day when Sheena, the coffee house pup, is on site... she is incredibly adorable and possibly one of the friendliest and well-behaved dogs you'll ever meet. When we travel in the UK or abroad, we always search for great places like this, and this place exceeds all expectations. The coffee is great and high quality, the menu is amazing with a wide variety of food options, there is an excellent selection of drinks, the staff is cheerful and friendly, and the interior is cool with good background music. It really doesn't get any better than this.
