I went to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere was upscale and elegant, and the staff were knowledgeable and polite. What Linda Thomas doesn't like about Arborist:
The restaurant was well executed, but the bar area was much too small. We ended up seated upstairs, which was quite high and not ideal for those who had already been drinking, like us. There was no bar on the second floor, so we had to wait for someone to come take our orders after sitting for half an hour. The prices were quite high and the atmosphere was not impressive. I wanted a party. the atmosphere is very beautiful and stylish and the staff is very knowledgeable and polite. we had every cocktail, the espresso martini and a gin sour art of drink (can not remember names). both were beautiful and the personal was pleased to change the drink on the basis of my partner nutritional requirements. price for cocktails was standard £9. we sat down, so we didn't see up. also had one of the glasses champagne every price of about £8 £10 per glass and are amazing. the bottle prices look a bit expensive, but could be perfect for such high quality products.
I had a small private cocktails and canapes party for workmates. I couldn't harm it, the kanapes were fabulous. the staff who worked in this night was helpful and we were very well looked after
We received a warm welcome and it was nice and warm inside on a cold evening. we sat up next to the window in comfortable sofas, we really liked it. a beautiful place where you can actually chat without screaming with each other. we will. definitiw return.
My partner and I have dived a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, only at 10 minutes before giving up and going to wait for an unattended bar. a young waiter came and went from arborist to erics and didn't even expect us at the bar. extremely disappointed and we will not return. it is a shame that their customer service does not reflect the high quality of their Instagram images!
I met with some friends for pre-dinner drinks and was looking forward to a fabulous cocktail experience based on the extraordinary food quality of eric. the bar tender greeted me very nice and the personal is the only selling point I fear. The...cocktail menu was disappointingly limited choice and nothing inspiring. I ordered a “Honey bee Flood” consisting of honey, lemon and ginger that were embroidered with champagne. I was horrified when I saw the bartender jif lemon pouring into my drink. at £8 per glass I expected freshly pressed lemon. I could not taste ingwer or honey, either only acidic, cheap jif lemon flavor. the bar staff was really nice, but that could not be for the lack of atmosphere at the place where it had no soul and practically empty. overall a disappointing experience. I am not sure that heic can ride from his call to get this risk unless the quality and standards are taken seriously.
