Cooked to perfection this was by far the best Salmon I have ever had !!!Next time I try the I will be back Thank-you, Katie, for an absolutely outstanding dinner !!! ... When I am on the road there is nothing like a homemade meal ... Off the Shelf ... The Dish Cafe Rocks !!!.
What Ruth Molina doesn't like about The Dish Cafe:
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. The staff are extremely rude. I do not recommend dining here, even if it was the last place to eat in the city. View all feedback.
The Dish always amazes us with flavour combinations and foods we never thought we'd enjoy! Roasted radishes! Who would have thought they'd become a favourite. The service and atmosphere make the whole experience.
The place has a complete lack of atmosphere. Whilst the food is good and the place is clean, it has absolutely no atmosphere. The rule of 3 applies: 1/3 setting; 1/3 cuisine; 1/3 atmosphere. The chef is reputed to be top class. Would make a massive difference if he came out his hidyhole and introduced himself. Or if the server treated the patrons with a bit more friendliness instead of being so officious. It's a huge missed opportunity. And really looks like the owners don't want to be doing this job. Take note!
When they put on a promotion of $40 fixed menu for app, entree and dessert, you can't go wrong. It's filling, it's tasty, and best of all there's a good mix of choices to build your meal. The soup is always a can't miss pick. And if you ever see "olive oil lemon pound cake" as the dessert, dive right in. Server is incredibly courteous and often returns to check to ensure you're having an optimal experience. Also, there is always a vegetarian offering.
Just returned from another great dinner at The Dish Cafe. Meals are consistently delicious. Staff very friendly and approachable. Reservations are recommended as this gem of a place gets full.
Dining is an experience that involves all of your senses. Chef Matt gives your senses a serious workout. His creations are a beauty to behold and and promise to delight your palate. The Dish Cafe, is located in a small northern mining town where Chef Matt is seriously worth his weight in gold.
