Old Gatehouse - Kirkintilloch

Cozy and welcoming with the fire place on, the smell of wood fire reminded me of camping in my childhood. Friendly staff and great food, my dog loves coming here and getting lots of attention and treats.

Always love our visit to the Old Gatehouse... the food is good (especially the buttermilk chicken burger it's absolutely unreal! , good value, and a great drinks selection (especially Camden Hells on tap! . The service is always great, last night we were served by David (I think who is always very friendly, great with our kids and even booked our taxi home for us, and also the manager Ian who is always so approachable and accommodating. The child's play area is brilliant and we try to get along as often as we can. Love it!

We booked for a surprise birthday party and the whole experience was fantastic, the team were lovely and the food was delicious! Reasonably priced and nothing was to much bother. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed the evening. Lindsey, our server was amazing and provided the best experience. We would definitely return.

Great place. Massive starter, had to leave some of it to keep space available for my main. Nachos and a burger, definitely recommend. The staff and service throughout were great throughout

Visited here a few times now for food. Food is lovely and staff are very friendly. The staff and manager were great with my 5 year old son, asking him how his first day back at school went and making him laugh. Also visited the outdoor play area on our way out which was nice. Would definitely recommend.
