Me and my brother stayed here for 1 night in february and was a perfect stay.Quick check in, coffee for free in the hall, clean room, comfortable bed (it was a soft bed but somehow comfy). Total quiet at night.Breakfast was delicious. Yummy bread and cold cuts and cheeses and jams. Perfect way to start the day.Its a small local hotel, no luxuries but we paid 35 euros each for 2 single rooms so its very cheap.LOcation is great. Few min from train station and 5 minutes from 2 of the famous breweries/pubs. Someone had recommended Fässla but it was closed on the sunday and we went to Spezial right in front. Great food and beers and very close stroll back to hotel.Will be back when i have to go to bamberg

For beginners, the ambiance was really sweet. Very rustic and native in an old German home on a river. The food was excellent! I had the duck with dumplings and a side of a creamy vegetables. All were tasteful, fresh and cooked to perfection!... My husband had the wild boar that was amazing. It was a huge hunk and very humid. It came with a very tasty meat sauce on the side. Our friend had pumpkin gnocchi, which was very tasteful and a good vegetarian option. All meals were perfect! The house Franconian wines were also good and a great value! Finally, the service was rude, unfriendly and inconspicuous, which was really too bad. I would have got 5 stars, but bc of them got 3. We go back, but hopefully there will be another waitress.
