Wether you hike,bike or drive do not miss this wonderful Alm! They bake their own bread, bake their own butter and cheese and distil their own liquor. The owners are pleasant and helpful, the food excellent and the prices reasonable. The homemade pearl barley soup I had was absolutely top-class. It is a little hidden, about a 45-minute walk from the main road, but the dirt road to the alms is easy to travel if you wish. Do not expect gourmet food, but wonderful snacks smoked ham or bacon, sausage, cheese and super cake Try it, you will not regret it

The day we were, we had a selection of chocolate or raspberry cake. The raspberry cream cake was as light as a feather and very fresh and tasty while my men sachertorte style cakes with eyelashes of the cream was the best he cost and he has cost a lot). We had a big coffee that came with a welcome glass of water and everything was well presented. This is a traditional family cottage and as usual in Austria is exceptionally clean and family was really friendly and welcoming.
