Kipfenberg is a beautiful little town, the hotel is centrally located, well-signposted hiking opportunities However, there is a flat rate energy cost of €1.50 collected per day and head

Solid country inn. Not too small, completely adequately furnished room. Pleasant, informal atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet. Nice and courteous staff. Located almost directly on the Altmühl cycle path, I could easily store my bike. Decent price-performance ratio. You can't eat in the evening, but there are 2 restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Elevator available, bathroom not barrier-free. Rooms: 4

The place itself is a pretty, small place in the Altmühltal, but unfortunately it 's dead when it comes to gastronomy, especially if you spend a holiday/weekend there. There is no café that is open in the afternoon!!! Apart from the Edekabäckerei and the small exclusive café in the Roman and Bavarian Museum!! The hotel was a bit old and the fittings in the bathroom could only be moved with force. There was only one small cosmetic waste bin without a lid in the bathroom for the entire room. The refrigerator in the small kitchen was very pleasant, unfortunately the sink was connected to the bathroom sink and the wastewater from the sink was pushed into the bathroom sink! Furthermore, there were no dishes etc. in the small kitchen. However, you were allowed to take glasses from the dining room. In the hallway, we lived on the 3rd floor, there were no motion detectors, you always had to fumble for the light switches in the dark because they didn 't have any lights and some of them didn 't work because they were connected to alternating switches. But there was an elevator, which is not an everyday occurrence! The hot water for showering got cold very quickly!! The breakfast was ok. apart from the fact that you had to pay for eggs, freshly boiled, fried etc. There were colored Easter eggs for that! We had booked the New Year 's Eve package, which included dinner in the form of a starter soup and a main course on December 30th. and 1.1. included and the New Year 's Eve fondue with salad bar and dessert. The thawed, warm, but limp ready-made schnitzel on January 1st. with finished? Potato salad without any side dish was the culmination of our trip! The New Year 's Eve fondue, on the other hand, was lovingly prepared and prepared, there were 3 types of meat, but unfortunately only a fondue with broth and that didn 't go so well with meat?! Unfortunately, the small included bottles of champagne for toasting were already placed on the table during the fondue due to time constraints and were of course warm at midnight!? A no-go!! But the fireworks were exceptional and carried out very professionally, you could experience a first-class fireworks spectacle for around 30 minutes!!! Three thumbs up!!! The innkeepers were friendly and the service was very attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately you couldn 't have anything written on your room, you had to pay straight away, even cashless. All in all, a New Year 's Eve trip that you can do but don 't necessarily want to repeat!

Right in the center of Markt Kipfenberg. The rooms are ok. The bathrooms, well, the shower fittings urgently need replacing, water comes out everywhere, but not from the shower head. The shower cubicles with their strange drainage mechanism, the drains would probably need to be cleaned... The breakfast and dinner were good, just 3, the price matters. Instead of charging the extra €1.50 for electricity, you should calculate this additional fee into the room price, because we don't think that's that great, I couldn't read anything about additional costs when booking. Only in the reviews. The innkeepers and staff, you can tell there isn't enough good stuff, were always friendly and accommodating. It doesn't bother me if someone watches what I get for breakfast, but I understand that you shouldn't take more with you than you eat in the house. You can book cheaply! The restaurant is only open for hotel guests, there is food at the specified times, I think you can always drink as a guest. All in all 3, good for the price!
