Having grown up in Trumbull Country, I can honestly say that this is my favorite piece of it. You can rely on; 1) gas carts 2) more than reasonable prices 3) taco tuesdays 4) amazing wings 5) uphill putts break less than u think. Gold standard for family run golf in Northeast Ohio as far as I’m concerned. They have lots of outings, as they are a local Fav. so make sure u call ahead. View all feedback.
What David Kurtz doesn't like about Bronzwood Golf Club:
The lady needs professional help she is a miserable person I love the course but the lady is rude we took 4hours and 45 min for our 4 team tournament and she snapped get over it and spend money on carts View all feedback.
After completing our round, the greenskeeper stopped us and began to yell, accusing us of disrespecting "her course" and using foul language. She claimed she had been watching us for three holes and deemed our behavior unacceptable. We were taken aback, especially since we had been repairing divots and fixing the greens throughout our game, as we come from courses where such practices are mandatory. In an effort to understand what had happened, we went into the pro shop to seek clarity. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk sided with the greenskeeper without knowing the full situation. She mentioned that this was a family-run business—a sentiment we absolutely respect—but it felt like we were being unfairly portrayed as troublemakers for younger golfers who might damage the course. After being banned by the greenskeeper but later unbanned by the front desk lady, the greenskeeper offered to buy us a drink as an apology. I'll be honest: I have no intention of returning to this golf course. I recommend you consider the same.
I had the worst golfing experience ever! I was confronted and yelled at on the 18th green by the greenskeeper for no reason. They accused us of "trashing the course" and driving on the green, but we were actually fixing other people’s divots and our cart never even got close to the fringe, let alone the green! I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place as well. Save your money and go to Pine Hill instead!
The venue has a lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service is quite rude. While there are a few friendly staff members, they don’t seem to be part of the clubhouse team. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I had the opportunity to host Golf writer's Shawn Masterson Saturday morning 8/24 and on a referral from another colleague we ended up in rural Ohio at Bronzewood Golf Club ..I reserved a tee time days in advance Not letting the establishment know who I was bringing and upon arrival 20 minutes early we were greeted with smiles and good conversation...After registration and a quick talk with the ranger who encouraged us to go for the green on hole 1 we teed off ...After the front 9 and the place being busy as can be we walked around the clubhouse got some drinks and started the back 9 ...when we finished the course again we were greeted with all smiles and good conversation with the owner who still didn't know who we were ...We were invite back despite us playing slow ,as we took in the entire course layout ,impeccable greens, and the vast amounts of visible labor that place had undergone in the time it's been here ... Did I mention we had to call the clubhouse on green 2 for a replacement cart as ours wouldn't warm up and again the owner was there in a jiffy with a replacement and apologized for the cart ..Not his fault but he apologized anyway ...I encourage everyone to try this place out ..I'll definitely be back in the near future ....A+ @ShawnMasterson
Son and I played nine holes there very nice, lay out and no waiting
