We checked the reviews beforehand and thought it would be a good choice for lunch. Some of the food was indeed delicious; however, the waitress/bartender—who was on her fourth day—was clearly overwhelmed. Our table was served first, and we received our correct orders relatively quickly. Unfortunately, the other table faced issues with incorrect dishes, burnt chicken, and extremely slow service (we ended up waiting for over two hours). The cook appeared to be the main problem, and the poor waitress had to cope with the complaints. What made the experience even more disappointing was that there were several staff members around, including someone who seemed to be the owner, who could have stepped in to assist but chose not to.

I waited 30 minutes at the bar for another beer, even though there were fewer than ten people there. To make matters worse, my drink was carelessly dropped on the bathroom floor. The waitress with long curly hair appeared disinterested, despite our long wait for drinks. I would definitely suggest going to a different place down the street or heading to Dodge City instead.

We waited 30 minutes for ano... read more As a visitor to the area, I stopped by the bar to catch up with some friends. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for another round of drinks, despite there being fewer than 10 customers in the bar. To add to the issue, the bathroom floor was unclean and had vomit on it. To make matters worse, the waitress with long, curly hair made unkind remarks to us after we had been waiting for so long. I would definitely suggest heading to Larned or Dodge City instead.

The potato was perfectly... read more We ordered chicken strips and a loaded baked potato. I've had plenty of good potatoes before, but Rustlers Grill absolutely nailed it! The potato was perfectly baked and generously topped with butter, sour cream, and bacon. Every bite was pure bliss. I’ll never bother making one at home again—I’ll just come here for it. My husband devoured the chicken and said it was as good as my homemade version. Honestly, I think he preferred it but didn’t want to admit it since I have culinary training. I tried it and actually liked it better than my own. Definitely worth twice the price. Can’t wait to go back on payday for another round. Loved it! 7 out of 5 stars!
