Fab food in a fab environment. Selection on menu was excellent and loads of room where we were seated. Large couch for and just right height for table for eating. Loads of outdoor heaters. But, the desserts are definitely the highlight, the kids couldn't finish them! They were served in fab glasses, well glass bowls really, ice cream, cream, waffles, large selection and all fab. What Anonym dislikes about Hamlet's:
Cocktails were tiny for the price. If I'm spending over a tenner for a strawberry daiquiri I expect it in a deep glass and not a Martini glass. Food was nice..decor outside gorgeous and a nice atmosphere View all feedback.

Just had drinks and listened to wonderful fiddle music for a perfect evening.
You can bring your dog and the food is delicious!
Needed a quick bite to eat and everything else in town was packed. Outdoor live music was good, but so loud we elected to sit inside. Not a lot of ambiance inside, but we got served quickly and the food was good. But after our food and drinks came, they ignored us. We actually had to get up and track someone down to get our check.
Another great experience in Ireland. Food was Spectacular, drinks were tasty, and service was really above the norm. The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwhich had some of the best chicken I have ever had.
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very helpful and smiley staff. Accidentally we left something valuable at the table and they kept it safe for us to return and collect it. We really enjoyed our visit to this lovely place. Will definitely come back again in the future.

The food was fantastic, fresh. But... the service was slow. The restaurant was empty and the music was overly loud. Asked politely that it is only rejected so that it is after the arrival of our food is music for employees or customers?!? I had to make a second request that it be rejected again. the second time was met with a very disappointing response from the staff. Team has potential, but no leadership of managers in the light blue shirt. The manager must give employees more support, model for good customer support. Zero table service only at the end. When Staff came to take our plates when we were not finished. I must be in the Kinsale for business meetings in the next few months. It was such a negative service experience that I would eat before in the car! 3 stars because of the quality and taste of food..
