This place has never disappointed us! We've been here at least six times, and I can honestly say that every visit has been delicious! The food is flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully presented. The special areas in the restaurant are intriguing and unique. If you’re concerned about the spiciness, don’t worry! They will ask how spicy you’d like your dish. What User doesn't like about House Of Thai:
This was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered steamed Thai dumplings for takeout and had to wait about 15 minutes. The cost was $10.61 for just four dumplings. Unfortunately, they tasted a bit stale, reminiscent of week-old three-meat meatballs or stuffed mushrooms. The soy sauce included was good and helped improve the flavor. Additionally, I noticed that the printed menu prices don't match what is listed onl... View all feedback.
The food here is 5 stars hands down. I’ve been ordering from them take out and delivery for going on two years now. I give this review only 3 stars because every time I order I am receiving less food (consistently). As you can see from the pics. Went from full container to to the line to considerably under the fill line. Would still recommend for for taste and quality!
Top notch service, phenomenal food. Crispy Duck over Pad Kee Mao special was delicious. Will definitely be returning soon.
Not very impressive. I was here once a couple years ago and it was a little better. Service was OK, although not all apps came out at the same time, and I specifically asked for my food to be made as spicy as they could make it, and there was not a hint of spice in the food (and it was even denoted as a spicy food in their menu already). Got the seafood lover meal and the seafood was unevenly cooked- some of the scallops and shrimp were extra chewy and soft while others were overly tough and rubbery. All the food came out very quickly though, so I feel like they were rushing.
The presence of this restaurant in the Kinnelon neighborhood is most welcome to provide more options to those live here. They provide just the right portion, better than average crab cake where they make the effort to put more meat The first time we came here we had a better experience than the second one where there might be something in the food that caused stomach discomfort. I hope this is a one-time experience due to perhaps an oversight on the food quality check that has been corrected.
Pricey. . .BUT worth every penny! Well crafted food and superb service! The decor is subtly Thai, with western influence. Our favorites are soft shell crab, padh see ew, Thai wings and summer roll.
