Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Kingsville

Eating is always fresh, so this place is always busy. could use a better quality control to ensure that all ordered foods are placed in the bag. but still great eating.

The food is good. (I hope that the food THERE is way better than the Popeyes restaurant in Kingsville, Tx.

First when we entered the bldg we noticed it was colder in the bldg than it was outside. That was 43° outside. We decided to get our food to go. My wife ordered chicken strips that were way over cooked. She only received about half her order of fries and no dipping sauce she asked for. I ordered a 3 piece all dark. The chicken again was way over cooked also. I also tried the Mac cheese. It looked like something scraped from the bottom of the pan. We have eaten there many times and here lately it has been less than stellar.

If you live in Houston, you'll find that the chicken served here doesn’t meet the standards—it's definitely past its prime! It’s a shame I have to travel all the way to Kingsville, TX, just to find fresh chicken. Thank you, Popeyes in Kingsville!

The food is always great, and just now the lady at the window was extremely nice, which really made my day. I absolutely love the red beans and rice!
