Nando's Mordialloc - Kingston

DO NOT EAT HERE I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to...eat (especially at such a highly respected franchise). Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. While reading the menu i was rudely asked by the cashier if i'm ready to order several times, by this time i was ready to find another restaurant. I asked for the manager and he said he was the owner of the store. i told him thats no way to treat his customers and he said whatever i decided to order what my son wanted (chicken wrap) and left, once we returned home we saw that the wrap was made very poorly considering the price. The wrap itself was soggy and tasted absolutely appalling, i called and asked for the manager, once again i was speaking to the owner and i request a refund next time i go past. He rudely declined and hung up. I have contacted Nandos head office and they are investigating this issue. It was NOT a nice experience

Despite being hungry, I virtually left the whole burger. The veg pattie inside burger has an unusual smell.. Perhaps it was stale and expired... The buns did not appear fresh and soft... I left it after just one bite... Just don't go at all. Stay...away.

This use to be one of the good Nandos always reliable and could never fault!! Then it changed owners at the beginning of the year. First I noticed the chip portions got smaller. My partner and I could share a large and then they came...out the size of a regular for the same price, then I stared to notice the chips weren't the same awesome crunchy perfectly cooked everytime chips they use to be. there not cooked properly every single time even when specifically asking to have well done Chips. than once I've asked this and got home and so annoyed!! soggy, undercooked chips again!!! I also asked for extra basting on my chicken that I didn't get. I called to talk to the manager who wasn't there, and while the supervisor was apologetic and nice enough, didn't offer to do anything for the order stuff up. Will need to travel to southland where the Nandos is spot on from now on The Male owner is reliably unfriendly and today heard me ask for well done chips and still doesn't aim to please customer for return business. Why on earth he purchased a restaurant is beyond me.

Lovers of spicy foods and having not tried nandos before we thought we'd give it a go. The cost was way over priced in my opinion. Some chips in a bowl and a half of pita wrap with coleslaw and small chicken bits in...there, my partner had chips and small chicken pieces. We thought there was more coming ....but no. down the drain. But that wasn't the worst of it. Within in two hours we both had horrible pains and we fighting to get to a toilet! Omg! It just wouldn't end and even that night we were too afraid to eat because everything hurt so much! I wish I had bitten my nails for lunch and saved and then the toilet aftermath wouldn't have happened! Somethings shouldn't be shared with ones partner at all! Now we can't take that back either! The food didn't taste bad it just tasted basic and a let down for that much money but the toilet business obviously shows there was something going on with that chicken. I won't ever go to a nandos again.
