Was Milton Bailey at Cafe Risotto a mag?

Caffe Risotto is a small cafe located in the leafy centre of Kingston which was quite pleasant on the cool summer's day that we visited. Service was fantastic and the waitress really helped to make things easier for our kids. The food, while simple, was good and the meal turned out to only be about $35 all up which is quite reasonable by Kingston standards. Will come again next time we're in Kingston and needing a bi... What Dayna Reynolds dislikes about Cafe Risotto:

I tried to make a booking here for my Dad, as we went here before and it was good. The guy on the phone said 'do you know you have called a cafe in lunch service, call back' then he hung up on me. I have worked in hospitality and taken bookings during busy hours. Not once did I find it necessary to talk like this to a customer.Poor service!!! View all feedback.

Yeah, it was ok. We noticed the lunch specials board out the front of the cafe & gave it a try. (Interestingly, the specials board wasn't on display inside the cafe, you had to go back outside to see it. We ordered a smoked salmon foccacia, chicken & avocado foccacia (both served with chips) and the chicken and mushroom risotto. The cream cheese on the salmon foccacia was either not present or too little to notice, making it pretty dry and dull. The risotto was ok, pretty heavy on the pepper and light on chicken, but nice enough. All in all, just ok.

Absolutely shocking. Waited ages for coffee and was brought the wrong order - twice. We even saw a couple of other people walk out. The waitress was apologetic but we cancelled our food order and left. Never again.

Yeah, it was okay. we noticed that the lunch specials board before the cafe had an attempt. (interestingly the special board was not to see in the caffe, they had to go back outside to see it. we ordered a smoked salmon foccacia, chicken avocado foccacia (both served with chips) and the chicken and mushroom risotto. the cream cheese on the lachsfoccacia was either not or too little to notice, so it was quite dry and boring. the risotto was ok, pretty hard on the pfeffer and easy on huh, but nice enough. all in all, just okay.

Had a lovely very, very tasty breakfast of eggs benedict. Couldn't go past the freshly squeezed orange juice. Great value!!! Definitely go there again! Highly recommend!!

Cafe Lella has received mixed reviews from patrons, with some complaining about poor service and bland, uninspired food, while others have praised the quick, friendly service and delicious meals. Despite some negative experiences, there seems to be an overall improvement in service quality and food offerings. The cafe has attracted both satisfied and dissatisfied customers, making it a hit-or-miss dining destination depending on individual experiences.
