What Anya Ritchie doesn't like about Brodburger:
My partner and I are baffled about the popularity of this place. Plain and simple, the burgers were not good. We both opted for the original Brodburger, our patties were well done, not medium as quoted on their website and they were flavour less. Their "buns" were simply a bread roll. There was nothing special about the burger whatsoever.
Garnishes included a mesclun salad mix, raw purple onion, some tomato and som... View all feedback.
When we visited Canberra, my friend recommended this place. To be honest, I thought that the taste of a burger is similar for any place. However, I realised the taste of BRODBURGER's burger was better than others I've ever tried. We ordered a jag of pimms, onion rings, deluxe burger and salmon burger. That was too much for the two of us. Burger buns were simple white rolls which went well with beef or salmon. I would rate 5 if staff could manage the table well as this place is quite busy. I'll come back when I have a chance to visit Canberra though.
Yet another Canberra burger joint, however it is a good one. Always busy, could definitely do with more seating/a larger area. Service was sufficient, burgers were tasty and it is licensed. You can't order online and pay with cash which is a bit inconvenient. Reasonably priced and I like that they do a mini burger. Buns were average, calamari was well battered but extremely tough. Everything was fresh and I'd recommend, is it the best burger in Canberra? no, is it still a great spot? yes.
We looked up for lunch place when we visited Canberra, my boyfriend loves burger so we went there to have a try. Waiting time wasnt too bad for 2pm on Saturday, around 25 minutes. He got the fried chicken burger and I had my steak burger. There's also bacon, egg, cheese, beetroot, green leaves in my steak burger, such a feast! Both burger tasted quite nice, enough for an adult even super hungry. The prize varies 15-25 I remember, pretty good for the big size. Nice place for a burger lover who doesnt mind the wait.

There was nothing special about the burger whatsoever. Garnishes included a mesclun salad mix, raw purple onion, some tomato and some sort of mayo. The onion rings were better than the burgers sadly. The only reason this place is getting a 2 is because they offered a nice seating area with cards and board games that you can play while you wait an hour for your food. Give this place a miss.
