Great potential but what a let down. Looking in from the street the restaurant appeared cheerful and warm.I was met by a dour faced man who surprisingly turned out to be the owner. Our evening at this restaurant was wonderful. The atmosphere and service were top-notch. I highly recommend the lamb and the pizza as well. Our meal was a dine-in dinner, priced at £40–50 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5.

The restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff is welcoming. We decided to try the specials board for our starters and ordered a buffalo mozzarella salad and arancini. While tasty, we found the portions to be on the smaller side for the price. Our main courses, carbonara and spaghetti bolognese, were decent but not particularly memorable. The standout of the meal was the tiramisu dessert, which was delicious and authentic. Despite the great reviews, we felt that the food didn't quite meet our high expectations. It would have been a nice addition to the menu to have some mocktails available.
